This module start with the introduction to soil consolidation in which the learners will be exposed to the reality of soil consolidation that happen around us. It will then followed by the lesson explaining why consolidation is happening as well as the types of settlement that need to be considered. After that, a physical test which is normally been conducted in the laboratory will be explained.
